High Quality Dentures

The standard solution

The common “plastic plates” used to replace teeth can be quite uncomfortable. They cover large areas of the palate where besides the tongue we find lots of receptors that are responsible for our taste. The consequence is that the food does not taste as good as it did before, not to mention the bulky feeling. Moreover these dentures sometimes from dentists called “extraction-machines” can harm the rest of your teeth as they get their retention by pressing / holding onto the rest of your teeth. The result of this can be the teeth getting loose and falling out at one point (did you ever wonder why the denture does not fit as good as it did in the beginning?).

A bit better than that

Alternatively to this we of course offer metal denture made of a cobalt/chrome/molybden alloy. These dentures can be designed much slimmer than the plastic ones as the alloy is very stable. The fit of this dentures is much better because the metal allows a different production technique and implicates clasps to grab around the teeth and so give the denture stability and compensate the pressure from the body of the denture against the teeth (reziprokes wiederlager). However the dentures are made of metal which in most of the cases shows. In several situations the teeth might have a too rounded bulky shape or stand no perfectly straight which limits the effect of the clasps or makes them even uneffective at all.

The real deal

In such cases where a high approach on aesthetics and functionality is expected we offer combined telescopic work. a telescopic denture consists of two parts. we use special crowns on teeth or implants (primary telescopes / patrize) which have a defined shape and angulation. To these crowns exists a counterpart (secondary telescope / matrize) which is exactly fitting onto them (think of two plastic cups which stack on top of each other). This secondary telescope is build into the denture and slots over the primary telescope. The connection between these two telescopes is very strong and gives the denture a secure and reliable fit. we work together with laboratories and technichans from germany who are able to deliver this kind of work and have the high standard in manufacturing and precision which is necessary to guarantee a perfect result.
